Sepakat Dengan PSSI, Menpora Sebut Kontrak Shin Tae-yong Ditentukan Setelah Piala Asia U-23 2024

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Menteri Pemuda dan Olahraga (Menpora) Dito Ariotedjo sepakat dengan keputusan Persatuan Sepak Bola Seluruh Indonesia (PSSI) terkait perpanjangan kontrak pelatih Shin Tae-yong akan ditentukan setelah Piala Asia U23 AFC 2024 yang digelar 15 April-3 Mei di Qatar. Informasi tersebut disampaikan, Kamis (28/3).
“Prinsipnya, kami sih mengikuti apa yang PSSI akan lakukan. Kita lihat perkembangannya, pasti kita yakin itu yang terbaik," ujar Menpora.
Selain itu, ia menyebutkan jika PSSI pasti memiliki banyak variabel dan juga pertimbangan. Namun, ia memastikan jika Kemenpora akan terus memantau setiap perkembangan dari performa skuad Garuda di bawah kepelatihan Shin Tae-yong.
Sebelumnya, Ketua Umum PSSI Erick Thohir pada 26 Januari lalu menyatakan bahwa Piala Asia U23 AFC 2024 menjadi salah satu parameter penilaian kinerja Shin Tae-yong sebagai pelatih timnas.
