Indonesian Fencing Team Wins 5 Medals at SEAFF Junior and Cadet Championships 2024 in Malaysia

SEAToday.com, Kuala Lumpur - The Indonesian cadet and junior fencing team won a total of five medals in the ASEAN Fencing Championships “SEAFF Junior and Cadet Championships 2024” held at the Tan Sri Hamzah Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on January 6-11, 2024. The five medals include one gold, one silver and three bronze medals.

The gold medal was donated by Indonesian junior fencer Arval Raziel. While the silver medal was donated by the junior men’s epee number (Arval Raziel RS, Andi Akbar, Diven Dwi PA, Zaydan Kariim). Meanwhile, three bronze medals were from the Junior Women’s Epee number through the performance of Nazwa Salwa, Women’s Epee Junior Team (Nazwa Salwa, Alzenna Laiqa, Fadilah Aprilia, Shahira Aqeela) and Men’s Foil Junior Team (Clifford Junior, Zaydan Kariim, Diven Dwi AP, Andi Akbar).

PB IKASI Chairman of Achievement Development Dr. Masyhudi SH MH expressed his appreciation for the achievements made. He assessed that the junior fencers were able to show their quality.
