Persib Bandung Wins Liga 1 2024/25

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Persib Bandung has again successfully won the 2024/25 Liga 1 season after its points tally could no longer be caught up with by Persebaya Surabaya, who is the closest competitor.
Persebaya had to be satisfied with a 3-3 draw in the 31st week when playing against Persik Kediri, Monday (5/5/2025). The additional one point made Persebaya collect 54 points, while Persib is in the top position with 64 points.
As a result, Persebaya is impossible to overtake Persib's points tally even though Liga 1 has only entered the 31st week.
Previously, Persib became champions last season also under the direction of Bojan Hodak.
"I see Persib's consistency, how we are in the first round, how we are in the second round, that is our key. And the kids are all happy, extraordinary," said Persib defender Achmad Jufriyanto as reported by Antara.
Jufriyanto admitted that he was proud to be able to achieve back to back Liga 1 championships as well as the third title with Persib. According to him, not all players can experience this opportunity.
"Alhamdulillah, not all players can be like this. This can be a story for my children and grandchildren later. A great pride in my life," he said.
