Yance Sayuri Bertekad samai Prestasi Sang Saudara Kembar di Timnas Indonesia
SEAtoday.com Jakarta - Bek sayap Malut United, Yance Sayuri, bertekad untuk selalu dipanggil Timnas Indonesia bersama saudara kembarnya, Yakob Sayuri. Ia menjadikan prestasi Yakob sebagai motivasi untuk terus meningkatkan performanya.
"Jadi karena itu jadi motivasi buat saya, kita kembar, kalau dia bisa, saya pasti bisa. Target saya, kapanpun dia dipanggil timnas, saya juga harus ada. Jangan dia dipanggil timnas, saya sendiri," kata Yance pada Media Day Timnas Indonesia di Jakarta, Selasa (12/11) seperti dilansir Antara.
Yance mengaku iri dengan pencapaian Yakob yang telah memiliki 22 caps bersama Timnas Indonesia, sementara dirinya baru mengoleksi satu caps. Ia pun kerap dilanda cedera di saat-saat krusial menjelang pemanggilan Timnas.
"Yang beberapa kali dipanggil, tapi cedera itu di lutut. Hasil pemeriksaan dari MRI memang ada sobek di bagian lutut dan yang kalau untuk kemarin, hamstring di bagian paha," jelas pemain berusia 27 tahun itu.
Meski begitu, Yance bersyukur dapat kembali dipanggil Timnas untuk menghadapi Jepang dan Arab Saudi di putaran ketiga kualifikasi Piala Dunia 2026. Ia berharap bisa kembali bermain bersama Yakob di lapangan.
"Karena itu kerinduan saya, harus ada di timnas sama-sama dia," kata Yance. "Walaupun berapa menit, intinya kami bisa bersama-sama main sama-sama di pertandingan resmi kayak begini," tambahnya.
