Hasil Leg 1 Babak 16 Besar Liga Champions: Inter Milan Susah Payah Menang

Ia sukses memanfaatkan bola muntah tendangan Lautaro Martinez yang ditepis kiper Atletico Madrid Jan Oblak. Dengan kemenangan ini, Inter Milan hanya perlu hasil imbang tanpa gol pada leg kedua di markas Atletico.
Di tempat terpisah, PSV Eindhoven bermain imbang 1-1 dengan tamunya Borussia Dortmund. PSV harus kebobolan lebih dahulu lewat gol Donyell Malen (24’), sebelum bisa menyamakan kedudukan berkat penalti Luuk de Jong (56’).
