SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The 1-0 victory over Bahrain has brought sweet results to the FIFA ranking of the Indonesian national team. Now, the Garuda squad is ranked 123rd in the world.

Jay Idzes et al. rose four places from their previous position thanks to an additional 16.6 points. The ranking of the Indonesian national team can be said to have increased sharply since 2016 from position 178 in that year.

The Indonesian national team won 1-0 over Bahrain thanks to Ole Romeny's goal in the 24th minute. The Oxford United bomber successfully executed Marselino Ferdinan's short pass.

Thanks to this victory, the Indonesian national team also maintains its chances of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup finals. Patrick Kluivert's squad is ranked 4th in Group C with nine points, three points ahead of Bahrain and China.
