Erick Thohir: Indonesian NDRC Recognition by FIFA Proves PSSI More Professional

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) made a great achievement by receiving official recognition from FIFA for Indonesia's National Dispute Resolution Chamber (NDRC). This decision was made by FIFA on Tuesday (1/7), making Indonesia the only country in the Asian region to achieve this prestigious status.
PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir said that this achievement is a form of PSSI's commitment to improve the quality of national football, which is transparent, professional and equal on a global level. In addition, he said that this is proof of PSSI's commitment to implementing the international rules and standards set by FIFA in the management of professional player contracts that compete in League 1.
In addition, PSSI aims to make the League 1 one of the best leagues in Southeast Asia and the 12th best league in Asia.
The NDRC is an institution that resolves disputes related to employment relationships through arbitration, specifically between football clubs and players or coaches. The recognition of Indonesia's NDRC creates opportunities for the country to participate more actively in international football forums and strengthen its bargaining position in various global collaborations in the football industry.
