SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The FIFA ranking of the Indonesian national team has risen to 125th in the world, climbing five places from its previous position with a total of 1135.11 points. This was influenced after Shin-Tae Yong's team defeated Saudi Arabia 2-0 on November 19 at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta.

PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir is also pleased with the result and has set a target for Indonesia to enter the top 100 FIFA rankings.

"Thank God, Indonesia's FIFA ranking continues to rise. Currently, Indonesia is ranked 125th or has climbed five places from its previous position. We will continue to push for Indonesia to enter the top 100 FIFA rankings," he said in his official Instagram account (@erickthohir).

Indonesia will continue its journey in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Asian Qualifiers in 2025, namely on March 20 against Australia, March 25 against Bahrain, June 5 against China, and June 10 against Japan.
