Kevin menjelaskan, keputusannya tersebut telah dipertimbangkan secara matang, mengingat ia memiliki cedera bahu yang belum membaik dan pertimbangan tujuan karirnya di dunia bulutangkis.
Dalam jumpa pers Kamis (16/5), Kepala Bidang Pembinaan Prestasi PBSI, Ricky Soebagdja mengatakan pihaknya menghormati keputusan Kevin dan mengapresiasi kerja keras dan pencapaian Kevin dan Minions.
