SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Persib Bandung will host Port FC in the inaugural match of the AFC Champions League Two (ACL 2) at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung Regency, Thursday, September 19th, 2024, at 19.00.
Persib coach Bojan Hodak ensures, his team will fight with all their might to achieve maximum results. Hodak assessed, his opponent is a strong team and always occupies the top 4 positions in the Thai League.
As quoted from persib.co.id "This will be a tough match, because Port is a very strong team and in the last 10-15 years is one of the strongest teams in Thailand, always in position 3-4," Bojan Said.
"We think they have good players and will play with their best eleven players," He added.
Hodak also said his team was not in good condition. In addition to a busy schedule, several players are doubtful, including David da Silva. Even so, Bojan ensures his players will play optimally.
"We have to play a lot of matches in a short time, but we will keep playing and give our best," he concluded.
Persib is the only Indonesian club competing in AFC Champions League Two. Maung Bandung -Persib nickname- entered the Competition after crowned Liga 1 champions last season.
Mark Klok cs are in the Grup F together with Port FC (Thailand), Zheijiang (China), and Lion City Sailors (Singapore).
