SEAToday.com, Kazan - A sports tournament that combines esports and physical sports (phygital games) is taking place until March 3 2024 in Kazan, Russia. You can enjoy broadcasts of this tournament on SEAToday starting Monday 26 February.
This tournament, entitled Games of the Future, will involve 2,000 athletes with a total prize of USD 10 million or IDR 155 billion. Apart from that, the Games of the Future will also compete in more than 20 sports.
“Games of the Future is a tournament that continues to grow. We started with 16 branches, then we saw great interest and expanded the program to 21 branches. We have now added Football for friendship for children aged 9-13 years. "Agreements have been signed with 277 teams from 107 countries – this is a serious international level," said Igor Stolyarov as Head of Games of The Future.
Some of the sports that will be competed in include Dota 2, hockey, basketball, battle of robots, lasertag football, CS2, drone racing and skateboarding.
SEAToday itself will broadcast the opening ceremony on Saturday (24/2/2024). Meanwhile, the match broadcast will start on Monday (26/2/2024) starting at 21.00 WIB.
The final round will take place differently in each branch. The branch that will hold the final round for the first time is Battle Tanks on Sunday (25/2/2024), while Phygital MOBA Dota 2 will take place on Sunday (3/3/2024).
