No Mees Hilgers and Sandy Walsh for Indonesia Vs Bahrain?

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Indonesian national team is likely to be without Mees Hilgers in the match against Bahrain in the continuation of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers third round, Tuesday (25/3/2025) tomorrow at Gelora Bung Karno.
Indonesian national team doctor Alfian Nur Ayshar revealed that Mees' condition is still being monitored by the medical team.
"For Mees' condition, he can still walk now. Then tonight we plan an MRI examination on his groin. Hopefully there are no problems so he can take part in the next match," said Alfian as reported by the official PSSI website.
Mees and Sandy Walsh were injured when the Indonesian national team lost 1-5 against Australia in Sydney, Thursday (20/3/2025). Both of them could not continue the match and had to be replaced.
Alfian added that Walsh complained of pain in the front and back of his left chest, making it difficult to breathe.
"At that time we took him to the medical room and then observed him. After a musculoskeletal ultrasound was performed, there were no fractures or dislocations, so temporarily it was only a soft tissue injury.
"Today it has improved, but if later it is felt that other supporting examinations such as MRI and so on are still needed, we will take him to a referral hospital," he said, Friday (3/21/2025).
The Indonesian national team is currently in the Group C standings table down to 4th place with six points.
This makes the Garuda Team potentially fail to advance to the next phase and qualify for the 2026 World Cup finals.
