Patrick Kluivert Announces First Provisional National Team Squad

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir has welcomed the provisional squad list selected by coach Patrick Kluivert for the third round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Asian qualifiers.
Erick is optimistic about Kluivert’s player selections, which were decided in consultation with assistant coaches Alex Pastoor and Danny Lanzaat.
"I’m pleased with this provisional squad. The composition is well-balanced and includes the best players in every position, along with three newly naturalized players. Hopefully, the team can maximize its points in these two upcoming matches," said Erick, as quoted on PSSI Official Website, in Jakarta on Sunday (3/9).
The squad will be joined by three newly naturalized players: Emil Audero Mulyadi, Dean James, and Joey Pelupessy. Additionally, several players from the Indonesian league, such as Septian Bagaskara and Ramadhan Sananta, have also been called up.
