This was conveyed during his meeting with PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir, Thursday (9/19).
“Hopefully, with the support from the Law and Human Rights Ministry, especially in relation to naturalization, it will be able to make a real contribution to the efforts to qualify the Indonesian national team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup,” he said.
On the other hand, Erick Thohir said that the naturalization program was part of improving the performance of the national team and he emphasized that it was not only Indonesia that carried out the naturalization process, but other national teams, such as the Netherlands, Spain, France and others.
