Bali United Fined IDR250 Million After Supporters Lit Flares on Field

SEAToday.com, Bali - The Disciplinary Committee of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) has fined Bali United after supporters lit flares and fireworks during third-place play-off match against Borneo FC at the Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium on Saturday (5/25).
In addition, flares were thrown onto the pitch, causing the match to be temporarily abandoned due to smoke engulfing the pitch.
Based on the PSSI Disciplinary Code, Bali United was fined 250 million rupiah.
In response, Bali United Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Yabes Tanuri said, "We, the management, appreciate the support and impressive choreography of the fans in the last home match of the season. It's just that at the end of the game there are things that are not pleasing and have an impact on the team".
