Banten Provincial Government Gives IDR 250 Million as Bonus for Rizki Juniansyah
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Paris 2024 Olympic weightlifting gold medalist Rizki Juniansyah received kadeudeuh or bonus money from the Banten Provincial Government of IDR 250 million.
“It will be handed over during the Banten Province Anniversary celebration in October 2024,” said Ahmad Syaukani, Head of the Banten Provincial Youth and Sports Office
The kadeudeuh money is budgeted through the Banten Province Regional Budget Amendment (APBD) for the 2024 fiscal year.
Meanwhile, giving bonuses to athlete who won the Olympic medal is the authority of the central government, but the Banten Provincial Government decided to continue to provide kadeudeuh money for Rizki.
“Because the Olympics is not the regional authority, but we give awards,” Ahmad said.
Meanwhile, for PON 2024 Aceh-North Sumatra later, Rizki was also promised to get kadeudeuh money if he won a gold medal.
Regarding the nominal, the kadeudeuh money for PON 2024 Aceh-North Sumatra is the same amount as what will be given to Rizki at this time.
Banten Acting Governor Al Muktabar hopes that Banten athletes will perform satisfactorily in PON 2024 Aceh-North Sumatra.
He reminded KONI Banten Province to prepare athletes as well as possible because the Banten Provincial Government has provided budget support to KONI Banten Province.
