We firmly believe that golf embodies the values of a Green Mindset. Many of its activities are closely connected to nature, with zero carbon emissions represented by walking on the grass, and its efficient scoring system following the principle of "less is more."

Once we embrace this Green Mindset, we take actionable steps to contribute to sustainability. Our Green Action initiatives include planting trees, calculating the event’s carbon footprint, encouraging golfers to participate in a carbon calculator program, reducing waste during the event, and introducing the tournament's first-ever living trophies.

Following its successful event in November 2023, PT Metra Digital Media (MD Media), a subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, is pleased to announce the return of SEA Today Golf 2024, scheduled for Saturday (11/9) at Rainbow Hills Golf Club.

This event is a part of the celebration of SEA Today’s 4th anniversary, bringing together golf enthusiasts, business leaders, industry practitioners, and sustainability advocates.

Embracing the theme “Green Golf” this year’s tournament underscores a commitment to environmental sustainability that aligns with the initiatives of Telkom Group and other state-owned enterprises that promote eco-friendly practices across various sectors.

In addition to celebrating SEA Today’s anniversary, the event aims to serve as a platform for business players to network and explore collaboration opportunities in a positive and enjoyable competitive atmosphere.

Supported by Sebumi and Jejakin as advocates for sustainability, we approach our efforts with care and have established four pillars of Green Activity.

Sebumi manages Waste Processing and provides Terrarium Trophies, while we collaborate with Jejakin on the Green MICE & Carbon Calculator and Offsetting Program. By the end of the event, our goal is to gather hundreds of trees for donation to a designated area.
