Indonesia National Team U-20 Gear up For Friendly Matches in Japan

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Indonesia U-20 national team is conducting a training camp in Bali to prepare for the U-20 Asian Cup in China from (02/6/2025), to (02/23/2025). This training aims to keep players' endurance at its peak as they prepare for several friendly matches in Japan.
“I’m ready for any program given by the coach and ready to work hard to achieve success and qualify for the 2025 World Cup,” said U-20 Indonesia National Team player Kadek Arel Priyatna to ANTARA during the training camp in Gianyar, Bali, on Wednesday (10/30).
“We’re also training mentally because our practice is very intense, so we need to be prepared,” he added.
Muhammad Hafizh Rizkianur is a new player called up for the training camp in Bali, running from (10/27/2024), to (11/3/2024). The Persija Jakarta player is quickly adapting to the training provided by U-20 national team coach Indra Sjafri.
“After receiving the national team call-up, I immediately prepared myself to improve my weaknesses,” he said through Persija Jakarta’s account.
A total of 33 players have been called up for the training camp in Bali, and this number will be reduced to 30 players who will then be taken to Japan for an extended training camp and friendly matches against several local clubs.
The 2025 U-20 Asian Cup will feature 16 countries divided into four groups. The group draw for the U-20 Asian Cup is scheduled for (11/17/2024). This event also serves as a qualifier for the U-20 World Cup, with the top four teams reaching the U-20 Asian Cup semifinals earning a spot in the prestigious youth World Cup.
