SEAToday.com, Balikpapan - Persib Bandung only got one point when they visited Batakan Stadium, Balikpapan to challenge PSM Makassar in matchday four Liga 1 2024/25, Wednesday (11/9/2024). However, Persib coach Bojan Hodak said he was satisfied with the result.

“I am happy with this match because we fully controlled the game. For us, things that are not so good is that we could not score because we still do not have David, Beckham, and Febri with us,” Bojan said as quoted from Persib official site.

Maung Bandung -Persib nickname- went to the match without some of their stars such as striker David da Silva, midfielder Beckham Putra, Febri Haryadi, and left-back Rezaldi Hehanusa. They were absent because of injury.

On the other hand, Persib also could not bring their reserved goalkeeper Teja Paku Alam due to family reasons.

Persib is actually aiming for three points in this match to get back to the top of the table. However, the absence of some key players impacted them so much, especially in the front.

Hodak even put Dimas Drajad, who just came back from the Indonesia National Team, to play in this match. Unfortunately, the defending champions did not get the result they wanted and went home with one point.

"Dimas Drajad flew here and insisted on playing. We were actually worried because when he was playing for the national team before, he was injured. So he only played in the last 25 minutes of the match," said the Croatian coach.

"That was our only problem because in terms of defense, we have performed exceptionally. In midfield, we have also played much better than in previous matches. So, it's about scoring goals," Hodak added.
