SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Manchester United (MU) had to be satisfied with a 1-1 draw when visiting Real Sociedad's headquarters in the first leg of the Europa League round of 16, Friday (7/3/2025) early morning WIB.

In that match, MU actually took the lead first through Joshua Zirkzee's goal in the 57th minute. However, MU's advantage only lasted until the 70th minute when Mikel Oyarzabal successfully broke through Andre Onana's goal.

In a separate place, AS Roma won 2-1 over Spanish representatives, Athletic Bilbao. The two goals for the Capital Wolves -AS Roma's nickname- were scored by Angelino (56'), and Shomurodov (90+3').
