Persib Unstoppable: 15 Matches Without Defeat

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - In a stellar run that shows no signs of slowing, Persib Bandung remains unbeaten in 15 matches of the BRI Liga 1 2024/25 season. On (12/23/2024), the team triumphed over Persita Tangerang with a 3-1 victory at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium, further solidifying their dominance.
The match began with a quick goal by Beckham Putra in the 9th minute, only for Ryuji Utomo to equalize at minute 16 through a well-executed free-kick. However, Persib regained the lead when David da Silva turned a narrow chance into a goal in the 37th minute. Tyronne del Pino sealed the win with a third goal early in the second half, capitalizing on Ciro Alves' assist.
Coach Bojan Hodak acknowledged the challenges of a packed schedule but praised his team's resilience. “I knew it would be tough, especially as this was the sixth match in 25 days. Despite Persita’s fatigue, we maintained consistency and won the game,” he stated.
The match turned more favorable for Persib when Persita’s Charisma Fathoni was sent off following a VAR-reviewed foul on Tyronne in the 70th minute. Although Persib couldn’t capitalize further, their dominance was evident. “We could have scored more,” Hodak reflected, “but securing the three points is what truly matters.”
With 35 points, Persib now closely trails Persebaya Surabaya, who leads with 37 points. The title race is heating up, and Maung Bandung shows no signs of backing down.
