SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Justin Hubner officially got Indonesian citizenship after taking an oath of allegiance to Indonesia. The oath itself took place at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights regional office in Jakarta, Wednesday (6/12).

Hubner got Indonesian citizenship due to his grandfather who was born in Makassar 1948. Hubner himself is still 20 years old and projected to play with the Indonesian National Football Team in Asian Cup 2024.

Hubner plays for Wolverhampton Wanderers U-20 in England. He had a chance to play for the Netherlands National Football Team before officially taking an oath of allegiance to Indonesia.

Now, Shin Tae-yong has six naturalization players in his team. Before Hubner, there were Sandy Walsh, Jordi Amat, Ivar Jener, Rafael Struick, and Shayne Pattynama.
