Coach Carlos Pena emphasized that the result was not the main focus of the match. "Today’s result isn’t important, but of course, we always want to win every game," Pena said. The friendly served as preparation for their next match against Persebaya on November 22.  

Several players with limited minutes in the ongoing BRI Liga 1 season got more opportunities in this match. Among them was Hansamu Yama Pranata, returning to the field after a long injury layoff. His last appearance was against Borneo FC on February 6, 2024.  

“Congratulations to Hansamu for returning to play," Pena said. "It’s important for him and the younger players to maintain their competitive rhythm." The coach also praised the team’s overall performance and their injury-free status after the match.  

Persija's focus remains on maintaining match readiness and preparing for upcoming league challenges. With players like Hansamu back in action, the team is building momentum for the critical stages of the season.
