Schedule of the Indonesian National Team in the Second Round of the World Cup Qualification

The second round of the 2026 Asia Zone World Cup qualification will be held from November 16, 2023, to June 11, 2024. The Indonesian national team has the right to qualify for the second round after winning in the first round. Brunei Darussalam was defeated by Shin Tae-yong's squad by an overwhelming 12-0 final score.
In the first leg match at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium last Thursday (10/12/2023), the Indonesian national team beat Brunei with a score of 6-0. The score was repeated again in the second leg, which was held at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium on Tuesday (10/17/2023) evening.
The drawing for the second round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifications for the Asia Zone was held on July 27, 2023. From the drawing, Indonesia entered Group F along with three other teams.
Two of the three teams that Indonesia will face in the second round are fellow ASEAN countries, namely Vietnam and the Philippines. Another country is Iraq.
Indonesia will start the match in the second round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification Asia Zone by visiting Iraq on November 16, 2023.
On the second matchday, there was an exchange of home status between Indonesia and the Philippines. This is because Indonesia is busy holding the 2023 U-17 World Cup in November.
