SEAToday.com, Bahrain - Indonesian national team manager Sumardji said that goalkeeper Maarten Paes is gradually getting better. Currently, Paes is on his way to Bahrain to join the Garuda squad.
“Maarten Paes will arrive in Bahrain tomorrow afternoon at around 2.40 PM. But, before that, we asked the team doctor (FC Dallas) to coordinate and check his latest condition before the flight,” Sumardji said.
Upon arrival in Bahrain, he will then be examined by the team doctor to see if he can play in the matches on October 10 and 15.
Earlier, FC Dallas confirmed that Paes had suffered from a minor wrist injury and had to miss the match against San Jose Earthquakes on Thursday (10/3).
