Garuda ID, Mandatory for Indonesian National Team Match Tickets

Garuda ID, Mandatory for Indonesian National Team Match Tickets

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Garuda fans must now have a Garuda ID to purchase tickets for official Indonesian national team matches. This new measure, implemented by the PSSI, aims to enhance transparency and security in the ticketing process, as each Garuda ID is unique to a single fan.

PSSI Exco Arya Sinulingga said, “In the near future, we will have something called a Garuda ID. In developing this system, we are collaborating with more professional external parties. Later, everyone who wants to buy tickets will have to have a Garuda ID. The aim is to record who enters the stadium and to eliminate ticket scalpers outside the stadium. All of this is for the sake of mutual safety and comfort."

Supporters can easily obtain a Garuda ID by registering online or in person at one of the 10 designated locations in Jabodetabek.

As quoted from the PSSI website, in addition to ticket purchases, Garuda ID holders can enjoy exclusive benefits such as discounts on national team merchandise, MRT tickets, and complimentary shuttle services.
