Salman Ahmad Falahi, Qatari Referee Leads Indonesia vs Australia Match
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Qatari referee Salman Ahmad Falahi will lead the match between Indonesia and Australia on Tuesday (9/10) at 7 PM western Indonesian time.
The match, which will take place at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta, is the Garuda Squad’s second in the third round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.
This is not Salman’s first time leading Indonesia’s match, as the 34-year-old referee previously led Indonesia’s match against Vietnam on March 21. In that match, Salman gave four yellow cards to Indonesian players, which were Ivar Jenner, Justin Hubner, Witan Sulaeman, and Sandy Walsh.
The other referee officials who will assist Salman also come from Qatar. They are Ramzan Al-Nuaimi (Assistant Referee 1), Majed Hadares (Assistant Referee 2), Abdulhadi Al-Ruwaili (4th Official), Khamis Al-Arabi (VAR Referee), and Muhammad Al-Syarif (VAR Assistant).
