PSSI Chairman Hints at Naturalization of Mees Hilgers and Eliano Reijnders

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) Chairman Erick Thohir hinted that two new players will soon be naturalized to play for the Indonesian national team. 

The news was conveyed through pictures uploaded to his personal Instagram account, Friday (9/6) evening. In the photo, Erick is seen shaking hands with Mees Hilgers and Eliano Reijnders.

Mees Hilgers plays for Eredivisie club Twente FC and is of Indonesian descent as his mother comes from Manado, North Sulawesi. According to Transfermarkt, the 23-year-old footballer has a market value of 7 million euros or the equivalent of 121.67 billion rupiah.

Meanwhile, Eliano Reijnders plays for PEC Zwolle in the Dutch Eredivisie League and is of Indonesian descent as his mother comes from Ambon, Maluku. Eliano is also the younger brother of AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders. Quoted from Transfermarkt, the 23-year-old player has a market value of 650 thousand euros or the equivalent of 11.30 billion rupiah.
