SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Indonesia will host the third round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Asian Zone qualifiers. A number of preparations have been made for the match against Australia, which will be played at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (GBK), including the maintenance of the pitch.

Bung Karno Sports Complex Management Center President Director (PPKGBK) Rakhmadi A. Kusumo said on Monday (8/12) that the progress is in the maturing stage.

“It’s still in the maturing process after being installed. As the manager of GBK, we have made every effort to ensure that the grass grows strongly and is in the best condition,” he said.

On the other hand, PSSI Secretary General Yunus Nusi appreciated the PPKGBK. He also said that there has been a significant development and hoped that the grass at GBK would be ready when they host Australia on September 10.
