Ragnar Oratmangoen,  Indonesia's Naturalized Player Candidate

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Chairman of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI), Erick Thohir, will naturalize Ragnar Oratmangoen. Through his Instagram post on Thursday (11/16), Erick hopes that Ragnar can contribute to Indonesian football. The 25-year-old player has Indonesian blood from his father, who comes from Tanimbar, Maluku.

Based on the Transfermarkt, Ragnar currently plays as a left winger and is on loan from FC Groningen to Fortuna Sittard until June 30, 2024.

His presence is expected to strengthen Shin Tae-yong's squad, which is struggling in tournaments such as the FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifiers and the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023.
