SEAToday.com, Germany- French national team captain Kylian Mbappé sustained a broken nose during a UEFA Euro 2024 match against Austria on Monday (6/11). The 25-year-old sustained the injury in a head-on collision with Austrian defender Kevin Danso's shoulder.

Mbappé continued playing briefly after receiving medical attention on the sidelines, but was forced off the field in the 90th minute due to persistent bleeding.

The French Football Federation confirmed, "Kylian Mbappé has returned to the French team base camp. He will undergo treatment in the next few days, without having to undergo surgery."

Additionally, the federation is preparing a protective mask for Mbappé to wear in upcoming matches.

However, Mbappé asked his followers for recommendations on masks suitable for competitive matches through his X account (@/KMbappe).
