SEAToday.com, Spain - A heart-stopping moment unfolded before the UEFA Women's Champions League (UWCL) Final between Barcelona and Olympique Lyon at the San Mames Stadium in Bilbao, Spain, on Saturday (5/25).

Just before kick-off, a banner emblazoned with "Stop Genocide" was unfurled on the pitch, draped over a Palestinian flag.

The banner also included the message "EU Don't be an Accessory" at the bottom. This action was intended to urge the European Union not to be complicit in the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

In the match, Barcelona defended their championship title with a 2-0 win over Lyon.
