SEAToday.com, France - PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir expressed his appreciation for the achievements of the Indonesian U-23 national team in the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup and the 2024 Paris Olympic playoff.

“I appreciate (the squad’s effort) and we are aiming (to get into) the next Olympics. Thank you for your fight,” Thohir said.

Moreover, Thohir still believes in the national team training program that is being carried out.

“This team is experiencing its golden generation. We have Witan, Marselino, Rizky Ridho, Ernando, and naturalized players. We also have the 2045 blueprint, and we consistently carry out the long-term training. Our program is on track. We will be consistent and improve what’s lacking. Because, at the end of the day, the Indonesia U-23’s achievement brought us pride and proved that football unites Indonesia.”
