SEAToday.com, Jakarta -  Indonesia will face Vietnam in their third Group B match of the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2024 on Sunday (12/15) at the Việt Trì Stadium. Indonesian player Marselino Ferdinan will miss the Vietnam game after receiving a red card in the game against Laos on Thursday (12/12).

Ahead of the match, PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir delivered his hopes that the Garuda team can play better and calmer. He also shared his goal for the match.

“The match against Vietnam will be tough because they are a strong team. To draw would be extraordinary, but the target is to avoid losing. However, against the Philippines, the target is to either draw or win,” said Erick.

Erick Thohir believes the players can give their best and believes that coach Shin Tae-yong has strategized and mapped the strengths and weaknesses of the players.
