Aldi Satya Mahendra Wins Misano’s Race 2 of 2024 WorldSSP300
SEAToday.com, Misano Adriatico - Indonesian rider Aldi Satya Mahendra secured a win at Race 2 of the Emilia-Romagna Round of 2024 Supersport 300 World Championship (WorldSSP300) held at the Misano World Circuit, Italy, Sunday (6/16).
In this race, the 17-year-old Mahendra managed to win over reigning World Champion Jeffrey Buis and Inigo Iglesias. Buis and Iglesias were locked in a constant battle for the lead almost during the entire last lap.
Mahendra saw his opportunity to take advantage in the last corner, and finally secured his first win this season, followed by Buis in second place and Iglesias in the third.
With this win, Mahendra is currently ranked 2 in the championship standings with 86 points.
