SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Indonesian women's volleyball player, Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi, once again showcased her stellar performance by leading Red Sparks to their 12th consecutive victory in the South Korean Volleyball League. In a thrilling match against Hyundai Construction Hillstate, Red Sparks secured a narrow 3-2 win (21-25, 29-27, 23-25, 25-18, 15-13).

According to an official report from the South Korean Volleyball Federation (KOVO) on Wednesday, Megawati impressed by scoring 38 points, making her the highest scorer in the match. She achieved an attack success rate of 53.85 percent, contributing 35 points from attacks, 1 point from blocks, and 2 points from serves.

From the first set, the athlete from Jember, East Java, demonstrated her prowess by contributing 14 points despite her team losing the opening set. Red Sparks bounced back in the second set when they were trailing 19-24, thanks to crucial attacks and blocks from Megawati and her teammates that turned the game around.

The third set saw intense competition between the two teams. Hyundai Hillstate, who had a six-point lead at 19-13, faced fierce resistance from Red Sparks, who managed to equalize at 22-22. However, Hyundai Hillstate secured the set with precise serves and finishing touches.
