Marselino Ferdinan Scores Twice as Oxford United Academy Dominates Banbury United 6-0

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Indonesia national team player Marselino Ferdinan delivered an outstanding performance by scoring two goals as Oxford United Academy secured a dominant 6-0 victory over Banbury United in the Oxfordshire Senior Cup quarter-finals. The match, held at the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium on Wednesday WIB, propelled the team to the semi-finals.
"Big win in Banbury as we advance to the semi-finals," wrote the official Instagram account of Oxford United Academy.
Starting as a forward wearing the number 10 shirt, Marselino scored the second and third goals for his team in the 15th and 23rd minutes. Both goals were assisted by Leo Snowden and Burton, wrapping up the first half with a 3-0 lead.
In addition to Marselino’s brace, Snowden and Harrison Bradney each scored two goals. Snowden opened the scoring in the 10th minute and added another in the 47th minute. Bradney completed the scoring with goals in the 52nd and 86th minutes.
These two goals mark a significant milestone in the 20-year-old player's progress since his move to England this season. On January 11, Marselino made his senior debut for Oxford United in the FA Cup third round against Exeter City, although the team lost 1-3 and was eliminated from the competition.
Marselino had previously been named to the matchday squad for four consecutive Championship games in November, including matches against Hull City, Watford, Middlesbrough, and Sheffield United.
