"Finally, I can confirm that I will move up to the Moto2 class next season," he said on Friday (12/10) before the 2023 Indonesian MotoGP. He himself admits that moving up to the Moto2 class will not be easy, it could even be more difficult than in Moto3 this year. In Moto2 2024, Mario Aji will use the starting number 34 from the previous 64 he is currently using. Even though 64 is a special number for Mario, this starting number has been used by Bo Bendsneyder (Pertamina Mandalika SAG) in the Moto2 class.
