SEAToday.com, North Sumatra - PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia or InJourney will hold an international motorboat racing event, F1 Powerboat on March 2-3 in the Lake Toba area, North Sumatra.
F1 Powerboat will be held in two categories, endurance and parallel slalom and there are 18 international racers from 10 countries participating in this event.
Side events were also held to enliven the event such as the Solu Bolon competition, Aquabike Indonesian Championship competition and cultural and MSME festivals.
The Coordinating Minister for Maritime and Investment Affairs, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, said that the organization of this international scale event is a catalyst for the region and can create a multiplier effect that can increase economic growth for the surrounding community.
