New York New Jersey Stadium to Host 2026 FIFA World Cup Final

SEAToday.com, New Jersey - FIFA on Sunday (2/4) announced that the final match of the 2026 World Cup Final on July 19, will take place at the New York New Jersey Stadium in New Jersey, US.
This stadium has a capacity of 82,500 people and is home to the NFL’s New York Jets and Giants. Despite located in New Jersey, it was promoted by both New York and New Jersey, being only 8km away from New York City.
The tournament will be co-hosted by the US, Canada and Mexico in 16 different locations across the countries. It will be the first edition of the World Cup in its expanded 48-team format. The kickoff competition on June 11, 2026 will be played in Mexico City's iconic Azteca Stadium. Meanwhile, Canada’s first match will be on June 12 in Toronto and the US’ in Los Angeles on the same date.
