Stadion New York New Jersey akan Menjadi Tuan Rumah Final Piala Dunia FIFA 2026
SEAToday.com, New Jersey - FIFA pada Minggu (2/4) mengumumkan bahwa pertandingan final Piala Dunia 2026 pada tanggal 19 Juli, akan berlangsung di Stadion New York New Jersey di New Jersey, Amerika Serikat.
Stadion ini memiliki kapasitas 82.500 orang dan merupakan rumah bagi New York Jets dan Giants dari NFL. Meskipun terletak di New Jersey, stadion ini dipromosikan oleh New York dan New Jersey, karena hanya berjarak 8 km dari New York City.
Turnamen ini akan diselenggarakan bersama oleh AS, Kanada dan Meksiko di 16 lokasi berbeda di ketiga negara. Ini akan menjadi edisi pertama Piala Dunia dalam format 48 tim. Pertandingan pertama akan dimulai di di Stadion Azteca yang ikonik di Mexico City pada 11 Juni 2026. Sementara itu, pertandingan pertama di Kanada dan AS akan berlangsung pada 12 Juni di Toronto dan Los Angeles.
