This was announced from the official KAS Eupen Instagram post, Friday (2/2). Shayne Pattynama received a contract from Eupen with a duration of 2.5 years until June 30, 2026.
The player, who has played a total of 6 international matches, admitted that he was happy to join Eupen, the club that Jordi Amat had defended. With Shayne joining KAS Eupen, there are now three Indonesian national team players playing in Belgium. Apart from Shayne, there were Sandy Walsh (Mechelen) and Marselino Ferdinan (KMSK Deinze).
Previously, Shayne's future had been a mystery after his contract with Norwegian club Viking FK Stavanger expired on December 31. Shayne then defended the Indonesian national team at the Asian Cup 2023. In the tournament, Shayne played against Australia in the round of 16.
