Indonesian Boccia Team Win One Silver, Two Bronze Medals in Paris 2024 Paralympics
SAToday.com, Paris - The Indonesian boccia team added three medals to their tally on the fourth day of the Paris 2024 Paralympics, Sunday (9/1). The three medals were one silver medals and two bronze medals.
Syafa defeated David Smith (Great Britain) in the Men's BC1 bronze medal match with a score of 5-3, followed by Gischa who also won bronze after a 5-2 win over Claire Taggart (Great Britain) in the Women's BC2.
Meanwhile, the silver medal won by Bintang, who lost 1-6 to Worawut Saengampa (Thailand) in the Men's BC2 final.
This result makes the Indonesian contingent already collect two silver and two bronze.
Earlier, one silver was won by Saptoyogo Purnomo in the 100m T37 running number. Indonesia also has guaranteed gold in the SL3-SU5 mixed doubles para badminton branch after Hikmat Ramdani/Leani Ratri Oktila and Fredy Setiawan/Khalimatus Sadiyah both made it to the final.
