SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Indonesia secured the TSINGTAO Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championship 2025 title after defeating host nation China 3-1 in the final at Conson Gymnasium, Qingdao, on Sunday (2/16). This victory marks a historic milestone, as Indonesia not only reached the final but also claimed the championship for the first time since 2017.
The decisive win came from the men’s doubles pair Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Daniel Marthin, who dominated Chen Xu/Huang Di in straight games 21-15, 21-9 to seal Indonesia’s triumph.
Indonesia's first point was secured by the mixed doubles duo Rinov Rivaldy/Siti Fadia, who overpowered Gao Jia Xuan/Wu Meng Ying in a convincing 21-11, 21-13 victory.
Men’s singles shuttler Aldi Farhan then extended Indonesia’s lead, defeating Hu Zhe An with a solid 21-15, 21-13 performance.
