Sandy Walsh Officially Joins Yokohama F. Marinos

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Indonesian national team fullback Sandy Walsh (@sandywalsh) has been officially unveiled as a new player for Yokohama F. Marinos, a top-tier club in Japan’s J1 League.
The announcement was made on the club’s official Instagram (@yokohamaf.marinos) on Sunday (2/9). Walsh will wear the number 15 jersey for his new team.
Yokohama F. Marinos secured Walsh’s services through a full transfer from KV Mechelen, a top-division club in Belgium. This marks the 29-year-old defender’s first professional experience in an Asian football club, a move he considers a great honor.
Before his transfer, Walsh played for Mechelen since 2020, making 133 appearances, scoring nine goals, and registering 15 assists across 10,374 minutes of play.
