Indonesia Ranked 8th in 2023 World Wushu Championships

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Indonesian contingent placed eighth in the 2023 World Wushu Championships that took place in Fort Worth, Texas, United States, on November 16–20, 2023. Indonesia ranked ahead of the host nation, the United States, which ended the tournament in 16th place. The United States won one silver and three bronze medals.

In the event, which was attended by 72 countries in the world, the Red and White team sent 15 contingent members. The two competition numbers contested were taulo and sanda. Indonesia managed to collect one gold, three silver, and seven bronze medals.

One gold medal was presented by Harris Horatius through the men's taulo nandao number. While three silver medals were donated by Seraf Naro Siregar (two silver medals through mens tao changquan and mens taolu gunshu) and Bintang Reindra Nada Guitara (mens sanda 56 kg), While the seven bronzes were obtained through Harris Horatius (mens taulo nangun), Tasya Ayu Puspa Dewi (women taulo nanquan), Muhammad Daffa Golden Boy (mens taulo qiangshu and mens taulo jianshu), Samuel Marbun (mens sanda 65 kg), Admiral Pandu Pratama (mens sanda 52 kg), and Rosa Beatrice Malau (womens sanda 48 kg).
