Indonesian Mixed Doubles Dejan/Gloria Win Syed Modi India International 2023
SEAToday.com, India - Indonesia's mixed doubles team of Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja won the title at the Syed Modi India International 2023 tournament held at the Babu Banarasi Das Indoor Stadium in India on Sunday (12/3). Dejan/Gloria defeated Yuki Kaneko/Misaki Matsutomo in a rubber match 20-22, 21-19, and 25-23 in 95 minutes.
They are the only representatives to make it to the final of this tournament. Four other representatives were eliminated in the early rounds, except for Alwi Farhan, who was knocked out in the quarterfinals.
This is their first title in the BWF Super 300 badminton tournament and their first since the Vietnam Open (BWF Super 100) 2022. Dejan/Gloria's victory made Indonesia return home with one title.
