REI Gives Home Prizes to 2024 Olympic Medalists

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Real Estate Indonesia (REI) gave houses to athletes who won medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Rizki Juniansyah, Veddriq Leonardo, Gregoria Mariska Tunjung.

The gift was symbolically handed over to the Rizki Juniansyah, Veddriq Leonardo, Gregoria Mariska Tunjung by REI DPP Chairman Joko Suranto at an event entitled “Appreciation Night for Paris 2024 Olympic Medalists” at the Convergence Indonesia Building, Jakarta on Monday (8/26) evening.

Alhamdulillah (thank God), this is a very big gift for us. Of course, we are very grateful to the business world for appreciating our achievements,” said Rizki Juniansyah, gold medalist of the 2024 Paris Olympics in weightlifting.

The prize is a form of appreciation that adds motivation for athletes to continue to improve their achievements in making Indonesia proud in the international arena.

Meanwhile, Joko explained that this house prize is a form of REI's appreciation to athletes who have raised Indonesia's achievements on the world stage.

“This is also to remind us that when achieving, (having) a house is part of the first thing to think about,” he said.

The house given is a 36-type house and was built in the hometown of the athletes.

“The house is already available, it will just be handed over to athletes through our representatives in the regions,” he said.

In addition to getting a house, Rizki, Veddriq, and Gregoria also received bonuses from several business entities that are members of the Indonesian Business Group Synergy.

The bonuses given were in the form of cash worth IDR 1 billion for gold medalists and IDR 500 million for gold-winning athlete coaches. Meanwhile, the bronze medalist athlete received IDR 350 million and the coach received IDR 150 million.

However, prizes were also given to other Olympic athletes who did not win medals and their respective coaches with a total of IDR 4.5 billion.
