SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Indonesian U-17 national team is in a difficult group at the 2025 U-17 World Cup because it is in the same group as Brazil.

The coach of the Indonesian U-17 national team, Nova Arianto, admitted that he was optimistic about this. He also admitted that Brazil is the most difficult opponent.

"Grateful to be able to attend the 2025 U-17 World Cup drawing moment and we can all see that we are in the same group as Brazil, Honduras and Zambia. It is certainly not an easy group, because all have good qualities, especially Brazil, which is the opponent to be most wary of," said Nova Arianto as reported by the official PSSI website.

Nova's vigilance is not without reason because Brazil is the team with the most U-17 World Cup titles (5 times). Nova also hopes that the players have a strong mentality to compete in the U-17 World Cup.

"I hope the players remain mentally strong because in 90 minutes in football anything can happen and we hope we can qualify for the next round by at least achieving the third best ranking in Group H," said Nova.

Group A: Qatar, Italy, South Africa, Bolivia
Group B: Japan, Morocco, New Caledonia, Portugal
Group C: Senegal, Croatia, Costa Rica, United Arab Emirates
Group D: Argentina, Belgium, Tunisia, Fiji
Group E: England, Venezuela, Haiti, Egypt
Group F: Mexico, South Korea, Ivory Coast, Switzerland
Group G: Germany, Colombia, North Korea, El Salvador
Group H: Brazil, Honduras, Indonesia, Zambia
Group I: United States, Burkina Faso, Tajikistan, Czech Republic
Group J: Paraguay, Uzbekistan, Panama, Republic of Ireland
Group K: France, Chile, Canada, Uganda
Group L: Mali, New Zealand, Austria, Saudi Arabia
