Real Madrid's winning goal was scored by Jacobo Ramon in the 90+5 minute. Another Real Madrid goal was scored by Kylian Mbappe in the 68th minute.

In the match at the Santiago Bernabeu, Real Madrid had to fall behind first through Martin Valijent's goal in the 11th minute after his shot failed to be blocked by Thibaut Courtois.

Conceding first, Real Madrid tried to increase the intensity of the attack. Carlo Ancelotti's troops attacked Mallorca's defense but until the first half ended no goals were scored.

Los Galacticos -Real Madrid's nickname- was only able to score a goal through Mbappe's action. The score became tied at 1-1.

In the rest of the match, Madrid continued to attack Real Mallorca's defense. However, a new goal was born towards the end of the match when Jacobo Ramon successfully took advantage of the carelessness of Mallorca's defense.

This victory makes Real Madrid firmly in second place with 78 points, four points behind Barcelona at the top.

Mathematically, Real Madrid can still overtake Barcelona. However, Barca's brilliant performance and the remaining two games of the season make it almost impossible.
